Rachel is a certified pregnancy yoga teacher and FEDANT accredited antenatal educator with over 17 years experience as a midwife. Combined with a degree in Sports Science and as a mother of two, she has particular interest in biomechanics of birth and achieving a positive birth experience. Having participated in pregnancy yoga in her own pregnancies, and having experienced the benefits first hand both personally and professionally as a midwife she is passionate about teaching and sharing the wonderful benefits of yoga practice during pregnancy and birth. Rachel continues to work as a midwife in the NHS part time and works privately as an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC).

Yoga Classes
Pregnancy Yoga classes - suitable from 14 weeks of pregnancy onwards.
Rachel teaches Birthlight yoga which incorporates adapted classic yoga practices for specific benefit in pregnancy. My classes are friendly and relaxed, and suitable for all levels of experience including those who have never done yoga before. Gentle stretches combined with effective breathing techniques and relaxation will help to prepare your body and mind for the birth whilst easing pregnancy discomforts.

Plenty of free parking onsite and access to toilets and a cafe.
You are encouraged to bring your own mat if you have one, but mats and bricks are provided where required.
Please bring a pillow/cushion and blanket for the relaxation part of the class and you may like to bring a bottle of water too.

Missed classes are non-refundable.

Classes can be rolled over up to 48hrs prior to a class.

When classes are full you can join the wait list via the booking link and will get notifications when a place is available.
